The Dalmatian Association show – 19 Oct 2025

Everyone with an interest or enthusiasm for Dalmatians are cordially invited to our second major Association event, in the East Hall this time. We are pleased to announce that our judge will be Pat Stanton of Salsusa. We will have Breed Classes and AV Fun Classes with prize money and Star Prizes;

Best in Show: £50.00
Best Puppy in Show: £25.00 cash
Best Veteran in Show: £25.00 cash
Reserve Best in Show: £25.00 cash
Special Champion Winner: £25.00 cash

It’s not just for showing – there will be a Demo at lunchtime, and an all breeds fun show in the afternoon. There will be Hot Food, Stalls, a Raffle, a Catalogue Draw and Our Dogs photographer Paul Dodd will be in attendance.

About our Judge Pat Stanton

The Salsusa kennel was founded in 1984 By Patricia Stanton and her husband Michael.
The name Salsusa derives from the first few letters of their daughter’s names. Sally, Sue and Samantha.
The foundation bitch of their breeding programme ‘Olbero Once While we May’ was bred by the late Jean Rance of the Olbero kennel.
‘Pepper ‘as she was affectionately known went on to produce many champions for the Salsusa Kennel and their progeny went all over the world creating precious legacies of their own.
Salsusa bred 6 champions, 3 of them being international champions and took the prestigious Bitch and Dog CC at Crufts 3 times!
Both pat and her husband Micheal went on to mentor and encourage many who are still in the breed today and a lot of us owe them so much.
Their knowledge and dedication to the breed knows no bounds.
If you look in many today’s pedigrees Salsusa will undoubtedly be in there somewhere… 41 years on and still going strong….
